Beautiful themes for Fedora - update

After my previous post last night, I decided to setup a COPR repo for the themes to facilitate easier installation.

Here is the link - GTK3-themes COPR

This COPR can be enabled as

dnf copr enable nonamedotc/gtk3-themes

Packages can be installed as

dnf install arc-theme-red-{,gtk2,gtk3,xfwm4,cinnamon,gnome-shell}

At the moment, there are four themes built in the COPR -

Arc
Arc-Red
Vertex
Adapta

Hopefully, at some point, I will submit this for package review.

  1. Seems like there's a small typo in the spec file for adapta - at least I get the following error when trying to install:

nothing provides gtk-murrine-engines needed by adapta-3.21.4.130-1.fc24.noarch.

That should probably just be gtk-murrine-engine, right?

    1. Yes indeed. That was a typo I had fixed locally but built the unfixed version .. :(

      Now fixed.

  2. I am getting signing errors when trying to install

Error: Package arc-theme-20160806-1.fc24.noarch.rpm is not signed

    1. Since COPR packages are not signed, you will have to use --nogpgcheck when you install.
